Get to Know Bruin Value Investing
Bruin Value Investing, UCLA’s premier finance organization, is recruiting new talent to join the organization this winter.
As the first student-managed investment fund at UCLA, they teach their members the skills needed for investing and develop them into outstanding professionals in different fields of business and finance, placing them at the most prestigious investment banks and buy-side firms.
The group monitors public equities and pitches selected stocks as potentially under-valued opportunities to include in the real-money Bruin Investment Fund. The result is that their members move on to pursue careers in top firms such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, Bank of America, KKR, BCG, EY-Parthenon, BlackRock, and more.
Successful candidates will participate in a rigorous training program covering core topics in finance, investing, accounting, excel, and financial modeling in order to identify investment opportunities and build pitch decks to present ideas as a team. Potential candidates should be highly motivated individuals who are interested in financial markets, businesses, and investing.
